You'll play a key role as a Solutions Specialist, representing 45
Drives as a trusted expert for our customers. This is a technical role with a human focus—perfect for someone who loves solving complex problems while building authentic relationships.
- Respond to customer requests and issues via our service ticket system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues with clarity and confidence.
- Use Linux commands and ZFS to configure and support custom storage systems.
- Work with customers to deeply understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Document solutions and create resources to help others.
- Handle networking challenges like bonding, subnetting, and routing.
- Ensure system integrity and data security through proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborate with teammates to continuously improve service and support.
You're not just technically sharp—you're approachable, resourceful, and genuinely enjoy working with people. You're driven to find answers and never afraid to admit when you don't know something (yet).
QualificationsEducation: Completion of an IT-related post‑secondary program or relevant work experience in system administration, networking, or technical support.
Experience: Entry‑level to experienced candidates welcome—we value passion and attitude.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Linux (especially command line usage).
- Experience or familiarity with ZFS or other file systems.
- Basic understanding of networking principles (bonding, subnetting, routing).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to think critically, troubleshoot, and problem‑solve in real time.
- A customer‑first mindset with a knack for teaching and supporting others.
A valid passport is preferred, as occasional travel to customer sites or our headquarters in Canada may be required.
