Senior Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
• Develop dynamic content, audience segmentation strategies, triggered communications, and automated customer journeys
• Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM, Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, CDPs, analytics tools, and cloud-based technologies
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, compliance, and operational support requirements
• Collaborate with product owners, Scrum Masters, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate product vision into technical solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Promote engineering best practices including test-driven development, code reviews, CI/CD automation, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot production issues, monitor platform performance, and implement reliability and efficiency enhancements
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and operational procedures
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven marketing solutions, to improve personalization and campaign effectiveness
• Mentor junior developers and advance team technical capabilities and engineering standards

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Five or more years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
• Strong experience with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and related SFMC capabilities
• Proficiency with AMPscript, SQL, data modeling, and API integrations
• Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other enterprise marketing technology platforms
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification preferred
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including Real-Time CDP and Journey Optimizer preferred
• Experience with Tableau and cloud technologies, preferably AWS preferred
• Exposure to data governance, data privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance practices preferred
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, including Salesforce Agentforce, prompt engineering, AI-assisted content generation, and AI-driven campaign optimization preferred
• Experience supporting product-led operating models and modern digital marketing ecosystems preferred
