We’re partnering with a manufacturing company looking for a hands‑on Inventory & Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of the inventory and purchasing operations. This is a working manager role

- Manage inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Optimize stock levels to balance service and working capital
- Drive replenishment strategies within Net Suite (MRP)
- Partner with manufacturing and sales on demand planning and production scheduling
- Ensure materials are available to meet production timelines
- Create and manage purchase orders in Net Suite
- Manage vendor performance, delivery reliability, and quality
- Support supplier negotiations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze supply chain and inventory data to identify inefficienciesImplement lean, data‑driven improvements
- Work with freight and logistics providers to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery
- 5+ years of experience in inventory, purchasing, or materials management (manufacturing environment required)
- Hands‑on expertise in Net Suite (inventory, MRP, PO workflows)
- Strong understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain operations
- Proven purchasing experience with vendor management and PO ownership
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally (operations, sales, finance, etc.)
- Experience with Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in fragrance, chemical blending, or specialty chemicals
- Knowledge of raw materials sourcing and lot/batch traceability
