We’re partnering with a manufacturing company looking for a hands‑on Inventory & Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of the inventory and purchasing operations. This is a working manager role
—ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working in Net Suite
, and solving real‑time operational challenges on the floor.

What You’ll Do Own Inventory Performance
  • Manage inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Optimize stock levels to balance service and working capital
  • Drive replenishment strategies within Net Suite (MRP)
  • Partner with manufacturing and sales on demand planning and production scheduling
  • Ensure materials are available to meet production timelines
  • Create and manage purchase orders in Net Suite
Build Supplier Relationships
  • Manage vendor performance, delivery reliability, and quality
  • Support supplier negotiations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze supply chain and inventory data to identify inefficienciesImplement lean, data‑driven improvements
  • Work with freight and logistics providers to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory, purchasing, or materials management (manufacturing environment required)
  • Hands‑on expertise in Net Suite (inventory, MRP, PO workflows)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain operations
  • Proven purchasing experience with vendor management and PO ownership
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally (operations, sales, finance, etc.)
  • Experience with Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fragrance, chemical blending, or specialty chemicals
  • Knowledge of raw materials sourcing and lot/batch traceability
