Delivery Expert (Driver) Position

Delivery Experts are on the road but also participate in store duties, helping out and having fun with the Team. Each store has its own personality, and outstanding, safe and fast deliveries are rewarded. Friendly competition fuels the pace, and many team members have progressed from delivery roles to franchise ownership or management positions. • Deliver pizza, sides and other menu items to customers.
• Project a positive image to the customer.
• Drive safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Know the store’s delivery area and be able to read area maps.
• Take orders over the phone and in person.
• Greet customers within 10 seconds of arrival.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Handle cash effectively, including cash drops and reconciliation.
• Report tips accurately.
• Assist in preparing line items: making pizzas, preparing dough, and restocking toppings.
• Help keep the store clean and stocked.
• Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
• Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
• Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Use Domino’s specific equipment (car toppers, hot bags, jackets) appropriately and store them at the end of each shift.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Comprehend written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and team members both over the phone and in person.
• Talk and hear on the telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; mid‑range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
• Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Stand, walk and drive for long periods of time; most tasks are performed from a standing position.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather outside while making deliveries.
• Temperature changes within the store ranging from 36°F to 90°F+.
• Exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, and food odors.
• Cramped quarters, including a walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more; unloading with a hand truck.
• Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Cases lifted from floor and stacked up to 72” high.
• Large cans (3 lb 7 oz) carried from workstation to storage shelves.
• Occasional carriage of 30‑lb pizza sauce from storage to front of store.
• Trays of pizza dough carried three at a time, weighing roughly 12 lbs per tray.
• Occasional navigation of stairs or ladder for signage changes or maintenance.
• Movement of trays on dollies; pushing a stack of trays requires 7.5 lbs of force.
• Work durations of 30–45 seconds per item, repeated continuously throughout the day.
• Forward bending at the front counter and when stocking ingredients; performed occasionally.
• Reaching performed continuously—up, down, and forward.
• Continuous use of hands and eye‑hand coordination required.
