FLSA for Position: Nonexempt
- Apply carpentry and painting trade methods to perform general maintenance duties.
- Pressure wash, scrape handrails, paint, perform light carpentry, and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist with removal of snow, ice, or debris as required and report to work during adverse weather conditions.
- Basic maintenance machinery and equipment knowledge helpful.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance machinery and equipment will be helpful to perform tasks.
7:00 am – 4:00 pm, M–F, 40 hours per week.
CompensationEstimated $15 / hour with temporary assignment length based on department need.

Temporary employees are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Temporary employees are subject to the Affordable Care Act guidelines.
