Operations Manager
Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager for its WW Operations network in Wilmington, NC. The role leads a team of hourly workers, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while maintaining customer delivery expectations.
Key Job Responsibilities- Support, mentor, and motivate the hourly workforce.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Collaborate with safety, engineering, loss prevention, quality assurance, and human resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks (push, pull, squat, bend, reach).
- Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Operate in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions.
- Continue to climb and descend stairs where applicable.
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
- Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma).
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments.
Base salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,900.00 annually. The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
