Responsibilities
- Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
- Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
- Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems.
- Participate in capital projects.
- Some after hour, on‑call support may be needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 3‑5 years in a technical role or relevant experience.
- Technical background in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
- Strong computer programming skills: VB, .NET, C, real‑time systems (or similar).
- Ability/experience integrating computers into manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies and lower cost.
- MS Windows, iFIX, Ethernet/IP I/O, Microsoft Office, real‑time controls systems, experience with motion systems (desired but not required), SCADA, Python.
- Ability/experience troubleshooting simple low‑voltage electrical circuitry.
- Able to communicate equally well with engineers, production associates, and managers.
- Able to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Self‑motivated, independent, high initiative.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required (0‑20%).
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Occasional off‑hours on‑call.
This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $75,511.00 - $ assuming full‑time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
