Job SummaryThis position is responsible for supporting production and distribution activities through accurate kit preparation, packaging of finished goods, and coordination of outbound shipments. The role involves working within warehouse operations to ensure materials are organized, documented and delivered to the appropriate departments or customers in a timely manner. Successful performance in this role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards and consistent upkeep of a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble kits according to production requirements and verify accuracy of components.
- Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Pick, stage and organize materials for kitting and shipping based on work orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using scanning systems or manual logs.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure packaging quality and compliance with company standards.
- Support inventory counts, cycle counts and stock management tasks.
- Keep the shipping and kitting areas clean, organized and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized and free of hazards.
- Experience in shipping, kitting or warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record keeping.
- Warehouse and production setting.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise and industrial equipment.
- May require standing, bending, lifting and extended periods of physical activity.
