Assembler – 1st Shift | $18/hr | Newton, NC
$18.00/hour | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 6:15 AM – 2:15 PM
Looking for a stable first-shift manufacturing job where you can get off work early and have the opportunity to get hired permanently?
The Greer Group is hiring 1st Shift Assembly Associates for a leading automotive manufacturer in Newton, NC.
This is a temp-to-hire career opportunity in a clean, established manufacturing facility. Training is provided onsite, Saturday overtime is routine, and double-time is paid on Sundays when Sunday work is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Assembly Associate, you will:
- Assemble automotive components according to work instructions
- Operate production and assembly equipment safely
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow established production and safety procedures
- Identify and report quality or equipment concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with your team to meet daily production and quality goals
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Must meet background screening and drug testing requirements
