About the RoleReporting to Head of Amazon Business and Operations, the Senior Media Manager for the Amazon account is responsible for the development and execution of Dyson’s digital media strategy on Amazon across EMEA. Your role ensures that every campaign gets the reach, frequency, and targeting it needs to drive discoverability and conversion on Amazon.
You will lead the planning, activation, measurement, and continuous optimisation of media investment on Amazon, partnering with Amazon’s teams, Dyson’s Commercial and Digital functions, and our external media agencies. This is a decisive hands‑on role, working deep in Amazon’s retail media ecosystem while aligning with Dyson’s brand and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and own Dyson’s annual and quarterly media strategy for Amazon across EMEA, ensuring every campaign aligns with commercial targets and brand standards.
- Coordinate media planning, activation, and reporting with markets, Amazon Advertising and Dyson’s media agency partners.
- Optimise the Amazon media investment — always seeking to improve ROAS and drive sales.
- Collaborate with Dyson Category, Commercial, and Digital teams
, aligning objectives, audience strategies, and activation priorities for the Amazon channel. - Provide media thought leadership — pilot new Amazon ad formats, measure results rigorously, and share learnings to keep Dyson ahead in a rapidly changing platform.
- Support go‑to‑market planning for new Dyson products on Amazon: audience and media planning, creative briefing, in‑flight optimisation, and post‑campaign analysis.
- Liaise with local EMEA teams
, ensuring Amazon media plans fit wider Dyson e‑com strategies and maximise synergy. - Track, test, and roll out innovations in Amazon media, performance measurement, and audience targeting.
- Manage media budget, forecast spend and performance
, and own reporting and insights for the Amazon channel. - Build strong working relationships with Amazon Advertising and key internal stakeholders.
- Expert in digital media: At least 5–6 years’ hands‑on planning and buying experience; retail media or Amazon‑specific experience strongly preferred.
- Fluency with Amazon Advertising: Must have practical knowledge of Amazon Marketing Services (AMS), Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and retail media metrics.
- Analytical and data‑driven: Comfortable making sense of media data, platforms, and dashboards—translating insight into action.
- Strategic mindset: Able to develop big‑picture strategies layered with tactical excellence.
- Strong communicator: Work seamlessly across teams, agencies, and Amazon contacts. Able to explain complex media concepts simply.
- Collaborative and cross‑functional: Experience working with commercial, eRetail, and digital functions.
- Organised and agile: Handle multiple campaigns, shifting priorities, and fast deadlines.
- Leadership experience preferred, or clear evidence of leading projects and agency partners.
- Innovative and inquisitive: Always exploring platform changes, new ad products, optimisation best practice.
