Night 3x12-Hour Med/Surg RN Traveler Location

This position is located in North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3x12-hour night shifts. Must be able to work holidays and alternating weekends.

The Med/Surg RN Traveler will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients with general medical/surgical needs. The candidate should be prepared to handle COVID patients and possibly work with the Incident Weather Team during events.

• Manage medication administration, including insulin and heparin drips.
• Provide wound care, including wound vac dressing changes.
• Administer high flow oxygen as needed and assist with BiPap respiratory support.
• Participate in rotating call shifts as needed.
• Support and float to similar units as required.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) is required.
• Preferred certifications include CPI and charge nurse experience.
• Must hold a valid North Carolina or compact nursing license at the time of start.
