About Our Women’s Services Unit:
Located within Betty H. Cameron Women & Children’s Hospital, our 20-bed Women’s Services unit is a place where compassionate, family-centered care meets clinical excellence.
Patient Population:
Women experiencing acute obstetric and gynecologic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and other women’s health needs.
Unit Culture:
Strong teamwork, shared decision-making, and a supportive environment where learning and growth are encouraged.
Our team works closely with physicians, midwives, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and initiate appropriate, individualized treatment plans
- Support patients and families with clear discharge education to ensure understanding of care instructions
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and any changes in condition
- Provide care on a 20-bed unit
What We're Looking For
- Education
:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience
:
One year of nursing experience required. If less than one year of experience, refer to our RN Residency Program. One year of relevant experience preferred. - Licensure/Certification
:
Current RN licensure in the appropriate state, required.
