The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) ensures the delivery of safe, quality nursing care on the Hope and Wellness Center (HWC). As an essential member of a multidisciplinary care team, the CNM uses and role models the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the highest standard of care and provides education to teammates, patients, and families. The CNM is also involved in active programming and ensuring safety of our patients, which is driven by individual patients’ treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and supervise the work of healthcare staff.
- Use and model the nursing process to provide safe, high‑quality care.
- Develop and implement treatment guidelines and protocols.
- Provide education and mentorship to staff, patients, and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care team meetings and case conferences.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
- Three years of nursing experience, including one year in a nurse supervisory capacity.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of management and supervisory methods, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to anticipate, recognize, and respond appropriately to potential problematic situations.
- Ability to coach and counsel employees.
$110,000 – $118,297
Sign‑On BonusA $10,000 sign‑on bonus may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025‑2026 Budget Approval.
Eligibility:
New permanent full‑time or part‑time employee must work 30‑40 hours per week. Those working less than 40 hours receive a prorated rate. Exclusions apply for recent government officials, previous state bonus recipients, and when DHHS has paid placement or recruitment fees.
