- Licensure & Certifications: Active NC license, NC DEA, Board Certification (PA or Family NP), BLS
- Experience: Minimum 12 months in urgent care or similar setting; no new grads
- Proficiency: Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: verify with client for actual pay, benefits discussed upon application)
- Pay package: Competitive; details provided during onboarding

- Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months+)
- Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, among others
- Manage high patient volumes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Document accurately in Epic EMR
- Communicate effectively with support staff and patients
- Adhere to clinic protocols and safety guidelines
- Maintain professionalism and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Required:
- Active NC license and NC DEA
- Minimum 12 months of urgent care or primary care experience
- Board certification as PA or Family Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Excellent soft skills
- Ability to see and treat all patients as the sole provider
- Experience handling adult and pediatric patients simultaneously
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
This assignment is at a busy urgent care center in Wilmington, NC, providing high-quality care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adults. Providers will work independently, managing a high volume of cases with support from medical staff.
