Requirements:
Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience, Required certification: BCLS, Must pass EKG test for this specialty, Core clinical skills: medical/surgical nursing, heparin drips, insulin drips, IV/peripheral line care, blood product administration, dysrhythmia recognition/management, non-invasive airway management, wound care

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical/surgical setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge needs. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Compliance / Notes:
Orientation: 24 hours, Weekend requirement: every other weekend; must work 2 of 3 major holidays, Floating: expected to float to similar units at least once a week, Up to 7 days of pre-approved time off, excluding holidays, Pre-start modules required (approximately 8–10 hours for acute; 4–5 hours for non-acute); modules are non-billable.
