Position SummaryResponsible for delivering person‑centered care in a 40‑bed skilled nursing facility, preserving residents’ dignity and quality of life.
Essential Functions- Perform nursing services, including resident assessments, vital sign documentation, medication administration, and treatments.
- Maintain timely documentation of written and verbal reports.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility) per the Resident Care Plan.
- Participate in required in‑service training and education sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Technical Skills – Demonstrate current competence in assigned tasks and specialize above average.
- Communication – Effectively transfer information to improve quality of work and provide actionable data to supervisors.
- Initiative – Self‑motivated, proactive, seeks new ideas, and brings solutions to the supervisor.

- Very active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
- Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 lbs. independently.
- Use proper body mechanics when assisting residents.
- Regular long hours, frequent night and weekend work.
No travel is expected; occasional travel may be required for training, continuing education, emergency situations, or other company functions.
Education and Experience Requirements- Four‑year college or university degree desired.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards.
- Use electronic records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Understand and follow directions as given.
- Work with minimal supervision.
