Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg with telemetry skills. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings. You will be part of a dynamic healthcare team that focuses on patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities- Monitor patients’ vitals and telemetry data.
- Manage patients with diverse conditions including diabetes, dementia, renal failure, and more.
- Administer medications, blood products, and other treatment protocols as needed.
- Provide pre/post‑operative care for various surgical procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem‑solving skills during patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience.
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications; ACLS preferred.
- Must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage telemetry monitoring.
- Experience with bowel obstructions, colostomy/ileostomy care, and renal failure preferred.
Typical diagnoses include, but are not limited to, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, and various surgical recovery cases.
