Description of Work There are twelve Officers of the Day (OD), 4 1st shifts, 4 2nd shifts, and 4 3rd shifts assigned respectively to each of the three residential areas  ODs are directly supervised by the Sr HCS and perform daily scheduling adjustments ensuring adequate deployment of available staff to each of eleven homes and three resource centers (1st shift M-F), supervisory rounding, providing feedback and assistance as needed.

The duties include, but are not limited to redeploying home staff, adhering to pull lists, to areas in need of additional staff secondary to call outs, new 1:1’s or med appointments, trips etc…, communicating need to hold red dots, compiling OD reports for worked shifts, preparing OD reports for upcoming 72 hours, making sure the absences, leave early, tardies, updating master schedules for daily alterations such as UL and implementation of call out restrictions and weekend make up shifts.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs )/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

Must be able to work with a variety of professional and non- professional staff.

Documented experience with use of computers.

Documented experience working in a large residential facility providing personal care and carrying out goal programs in areas such as bathing, dressing, tooth brushing, feeding, changing.

Must demonstrate initiative and be able to work without direct supervision daily.

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
