Provide nursing care to a mixed acuity adult and geriatric population. Monitor patients' telemetry and recognize/manage dysrhythmias. Administer IV medications and manage peripheral, central, and PICC lines. Perform assessments and provide care for conditions such as diabetes, CHF, COPD, and post-operative recovery. Assist in the management of patients requiring oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). Pre-start modules required (acute care ~8–10 hours); to be completed online. Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
