Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and be proficient in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions.

• Monitor patients in a telemetry setting, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and manage central/peripheral lines.
• Provide care and management for bowel obstruction, colostomy/ileostomy, and feeding tubes.
• Conduct pre/post hemodialysis and thoracic surgery care.
• Respond to rapid response/code situations in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Implement wound care, isolation precautions, and oral suctioning as needed.
• Manage patient care for various diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD, and sepsis.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry unit.
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS. ACLS is preferred.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and patient management.
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.
