Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry – Wilmington, NC

Start Date:

July 27, 2026. Duration: 16 weeks (13‑week contract). 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (18:45 to 07:15). Travel nursing position.

• Administer medications and manage blood products.
• Perform thorough assessments and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Provide care for patients with bowel obstructions, colostomy/ileostomy management, and feeding tube care.
• Manage renal failure and provide pre/post hemodialysis management.
• Utilize telemetry for remote monitoring and manage respiratory therapies including BiPAP/CPAP.
• Collaborate with Rapid Response and Code teams as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and provide wound care.
• Float to different units as needed.

• Minimum 2 years experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to interpret vital signs; manage IVs, central line blood draws, heparin/insulin protocols.
• Experience with Electronic Documentation, preferably Epic.
• RN license required; NC or Compact license acceptable.
