Substance Use Disorder Treatment LPN – Full Time

About UsWilmington Treatment Center is North Carolina's premier addiction rehab center and recovery hospital. We offer a complete continuum of care for detox, rehab services, residential, partial hospitalization and an intensive outpatient programming (IOP) to help our patients reach their goals.
Shift AvailabilityFull-time / Day Shift: 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (3–12 hour shifts with weekend rotation)
Full-time / Night Shift: 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (3–12 hour shifts with weekend rotation)
PayHourly Rates: $30 – $33 per hour (calculated based on years of nursing experience)
Shift Diffs: $3 – $6 depending on weekends / nights
What You’ll Do- Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals.
- Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
- Collaborate with others to ensure that patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and, when not met, acknowledge and work to resolve customer complaints.
- Provide basic comfort for patients, implementing nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that are individualized to their needs.
- Apply appropriate interventions to progress the patient toward wellness and address maintenance of wellness.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted LPN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
- At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
- Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
- First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
