Skills:
Med/Surg care and telemetry familiarity, Heparin and insulin infusion management, IV/peripheral line care, recognition and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, PCA, wound care basics. Must pass EKG test for this specialty EMR: EPIC charting Roles & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting. Monitor and manage vital signs and patient conditions, recognizing changes in health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV medications and blood products. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
