We work with families and their loved one’s doctor and other health care providers to create a care plan that will meet their needs.

Christiana Care Home Health is seeking part‑time LPNs to work in Newark, Wilmington, or Kent/Sussex Delaware within our Private Duty Nursing department. This exciting position offers schedule flexibility.

• Provide overnight care while parents and caregivers sleep, ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate care with the family, the patient’s physician and other health care professionals.
• Create positive relationships by serving in a compassionate, responsive and courteous manner.
• Work overnight and weekends.

• Delaware LPN license with one year of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Associate degree or completed accredited LPN education program.
• Work experience in an acute or chronic care facility, or home health agency preferred.
• Previous home healthcare and long‑term care experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend a two‑week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient‑specific field orientation on night shift. A mandatory weekend per month is required.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is a plus.

This is a flat‑rate position; any individual hired into this position will be paid $27.96.00/hr plus any applicable differentials for working 20 or 30 hours per week. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
