Monday‑Friday 8a‑5p, on‑call.
Location:
New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The Coordinator works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) team to coordinate and manage advanced heart failure patients who need or have an implanted VAD. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care to provide continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings, and for providing direct patient care including education of patients and families regarding advanced heart failure and VAD management.
Qualifications- Education:
4‑Year/Bachelors Degree, required. BSN. - Experience:
Minimum three years of clinical RN experience, required. - Licensure/Certification:
Current Registered Nurse in NC or compact state, required. - Additional Skills/Requirements:
Demonstrates interdisciplinary leadership skills, superior interpersonal communication skills, and knowledge of computer database, data analysis and presentation skills. - ICU / Cardiac experience required.
- CCRN preferred.
