Full-Time Licensed Psychiatric Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse | Wilmington, CA
Pay Range: $24 - $30 per hour

- Active and current California nursing or technician license (includes Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician), along with current CPR and first aid certification.
- Experience with triaging in emergency situations, assisting with medical emergencies.
- Implement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substances.
- Perform daily reconciliation of controlled substances as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
- Administer medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions.
- Document and sign entries in patient treatment records as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and security at the dispensing window.
- Administer as needed medication to patients who are locally hospitalized.
- Provide appropriate documentation to Medical Director and/or Clinic Manager as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
- Ensure that forms are completed in their entirety.
- Maintain patient charts and filing.
- Ensure knowledge of, and observe, applicable federal and state regulations.
- Orient new patients to the program’s policies, rules, and procedures.
