Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule:

12-hour NIGHTS

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13–26 weeks

  Hours:
  
  36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
• Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS
• Preferred: NIHSS
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, remote monitoring, pre/post cardiac cath and surgery care, sheath removal, central line/PICC care, blood product administration, and cardiac drip titration

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry data and interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide pre/post-operative care for cardiac patients
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications
• Manage central lines and PICC lines, including blood transfusions
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Strict RTO policy; all RTO must be pre-approved
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Background checks and drug screens required
