Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Schedule:
12-hour NIGHTS
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13–26 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
- Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS
- Preferred: NIHSS
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, remote monitoring, pre/post cardiac cath and surgery care, sheath removal, central line/PICC care, blood product administration, and cardiac drip titration
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor telemetry data and interpret dysrhythmias
- Provide pre/post-operative care for cardiac patients
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications
- Manage central lines and PICC lines, including blood transfusions
- Participate in rapid response and code team activities
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Strict RTO policy; all RTO must be pre-approved
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Background checks and drug screens required
