Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45–07:15) Weekend requirement: every other weekend Holiday requirement: must work 2 of 3 major holidays Assignment length: 13–26 weeks Hours options: 36 or 48 hours/week accepted

Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience BCLS/BLS certification required EPIC experience required Preferred: CPI, charge nurse experience

Skills:

Ability to manage insulin and heparin drips, peripheral line care, wound care/VAC, high-flow oxygen support, basic BiPAP support as needed, dysrhythmia recognition/management

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a general medical-surgical unit. Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those requiring insulin and heparin drips. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Participate in nursing rounds and unit team meetings. Document patient care activities accurately and timely using electronic health records.

Must pass EKG testing prior to start, complete lab/testing within 48 hours after signing, and complete pre-start modules (acute care ~8–10 hrs) prior to start. RTO after booking is restricted; up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays). No RTO during the first week; all RTO must be pre-approved.
