Job Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. Traveler
Experience:
Required UNLESS traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience.
Skills:
Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management Certs: BLS & ACLS, NIHSS Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp:
Arterial line management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, and Charge Experience
Patient Diagnoses:
Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, Aortic stenosis/regurgitation, Mitral Regurgitation/Stenosis, Endocarditis, Cardiomyopathy, PVD PAD, Vasculitis, Carotid stenosis, Venous stasis, sheath management, sheath removal.
Special Procedures / Unit Details: CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO (Watchman procedure), VATS, Carotid endarterectomy, FEM-POP bypass, Amputations, Other vascular surgeries, Cardiac surgeries, Thoracic surgeries, General thoracic surgery, Post cath, Post DCCV, Post electrophysiology procedures, Pacemaker placements. Special Equipment:
Arterial lines (not required), Doppler, Bladder scanner, EKG, Femoral sheaths, TR band, Fem-stop, Chest tubes, Epicardial Pacing Wires.
Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication):
Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR Unit Orientation: 24 hours Scrubs:
