Neuro Surgical Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3x12-hour shifts per week, with flexibility around weekend shifts (12-16 required per contract).
The Neuro Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care for patients undergoing neuro surgical procedures and related diagnoses. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and manage IVs, telemetry, and patient assessments.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
- Participate in storm and hurricane response teams as needed.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and other safety measures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neuro surgical unit preferred.
- Current BCLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
- NIHSS certification is a plus.
- Ability to float within assigned units as required.
