Licensed Practical Nurse

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment. The LPN will provide direct bedside care, administer medications, perform treatments, monitor patient status, and document accurately in electronic health records. Working closely with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary teams, this role supports care planning, patient education, and safe transitions of care. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients under RN and provider supervision
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition using EHR systems
• Support development and implementation of patient care plans
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and safe transitions of care
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, specimen collection, and vital signs
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
• Participate in continuous learning, competency validation, and performance improvement
