What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
  • Perform detailed assessments and recognize changes in patient condition requiring immediate intervention.
  • Manage complex cardiovascular therapies, including mechanical ventilation, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, arterial and central lines, and continuous medication infusions.
  • Care for patients before and after cardiovascular procedures and surgeries.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized plans of care.
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency and critical care interventions.
  • Educate and support patients and families throughout their critical care experience.
  • Promote a safe environment while following evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Education:

    4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

    In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience:

    One year relevant experience, peferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
