Responsibilities
- reports to a Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager with on‑shift support from a seasoned Charge RN and close collaboration with obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, OB hospitalists, anesthesia, neonatology, lactation consultants, and an interdisciplinary team that includes social work, pharmacy, and case management;
- to lead bedside care, manage inductions and augmentations, assist in cesarean sections, steward hemorrhage and hypertension bundles, deliver trauma‑informed education, document flawlessly, precept when ready, and participate in shared governance and continuous quality improvement.
