Job Summary:
- The Division Quality Process Technician supports manufacturing quality performance by analyzing processes, data, and product quality metrics to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements.
- This role partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes of quality issues, support disposition decisions, and implement sustainable improvements that strengthen process capability and product quality.
- Prepare the plant for new product codes and experiments by setting up the correct specifications and wareflow.
- Disposition ware by applying attribute quality architectures or PQA through data querying and analysis.
- Disposition ware on quality holds by querying and analyzing data or completing experiments.
- Improve production efficiency by supporting efforts to understand processes, measurement capability, and product quality architecture.
- Participate in MSAs.
- Support root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting specified requirements.
- Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement sustainable solutions compliant with quality systems and customer agreements.
- Provide training to employees as needed (quality systems, new procedures, corrective actions, etc.).
- Prepare status reports when needed.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a process or quality technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with data collection and data analysis software and techniques, including Excel and Access.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work with employees at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
