- Analyze data and make decisions on product quality while working closely with production to resolve issues if product is outside of specifications.
- Pull random samples for routine testing
- Check packaging for correct labeling and code information.
- Responsible for the execution of procedures, process documentation and continuous improvement programs.
- Ability to write and help implement SOP’s and Work Instructions
- Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to interpret specifications and apply to results
- Approve and/or reject incoming raw materials.
- Knowledge of non-conformance, deviation and CAPA programs.
- Calibrate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Understand and comply with Quality Food/Safety and safety requirements in place.
- Check HACCP critical control points and HACQP critical quality points and ensure proper corrective actions are taken to maintain food safety and quality at all times.

- Proven experience in Quality Control experience in a food and or beverage facility is preferred.
- Experience with GMP practices.
- Familiarity with standard lab equipment.
- Familiarity with microbiological practices in a food processing environment a plus.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full‑time
Location: Arden, NC
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 4:00 pm-12:30 am
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 depending on experience
