Temporary CMS Research Analyst Pool

This temporary Lab Technician position involves designing, executing, and documenting experiments in a laboratory setting under the supervision of a principal investigator. The assignment duration is based on departmental need, with the possibility for extension, and cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a 31‑day break.

• Design specific experimental plans and review relevant literature.
• Execute experiments independently, record data, and interpret results.
• Adapt procedures to meet project objectives.
• Train and supervise technicians or students in experimental phases.
• Produce reports and attend periodic conference meetings to discuss progress.

• Graduation from a four‑year college or university with a major in a related science.
• At least three years of laboratory experience in the assigned research area.
• Hands‑on experience in the specific laboratory tasks required.

• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
• Experience with data analysis software and statistical methods.
