Work involves entry level research assignments including data entry, statistical analysis, and field work. Work may also involve the use of various lab equipment including microscopes, fume hoods, autoclave, glassware, computers, and centrifuge, as well as handling biological specimens. Some assignments may include required other specialized knowledge as needed by the individual lab.

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Prior lab experience.

Varied; flexible as needed for the grants and PI. Hours per week flexible, as needed. Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional overtime or weekend work.

$12 - $17 per hour.

Temporary; assignments based on department need and grant support. Length based on contract; cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a 31‑day break. Temporary employees are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Subject to Affordable Care Act guidelines.
