The employee will support stable isotope analyses for trophicecology studies. Duties will include organizing and tracking samples; preparing samples for bulk tissue and amino acid-specific stable isotope analysis; performing acid hydrolysis and amino acidderivatization; preparing standards, reagents, and analytical sequences; operating EA-IRMS and GC-C-IRMS instrumentation under supervision; conducting routine laboratory organization and consumables management; and assisting with data reduction, quality assurance/quality control, documentation, and compilation of analytical results.

- BS in Biology, Chemistry, Marine Biology, or a related field.
- Previous laboratory experience is required.
Experience:
Experience with stable isotope analysis, mass spectrometry, aminoacid derivatization, and stable isotope data processing is preferred.
