Research and Process Engineer

We are looking for an engineer combining strong scientific expertise with excellent communication skills and enjoying addressing industrial challenges worldwide. In this role, you will act as a key interface between our research center and international partners, providing scientific and technical expertise on-site, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

• Provide technical support to customers and promote R&D Carbon technologies.
• Analyze process and quality control data and provide clear recommendations.
• Develop research and development activities related to industrial study cases
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and scientific documentation.
• Travel internationally to customer facilities for audits, optimization, troubleshooting.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Deliver technical training to operators, engineers and laboratory technicians.
• Represent R&D Carbon at customer meetings, conferences and technical events.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, material science or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of material characterization, laboratory testing and data analysis.
• Exposure to process, equipment or product development and scale-up projects.
• Experience interacting directly with customers in an industrial environment or in industrial R&D, technical customer support, process engineering.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and delivering training.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English;
  French and/or German are considered a strong asset. Willingness to travel internationally.
