Pipton is hiring a Beauty Advisor and Sales Associate to be responsible for managing the store floor during open hours, assisting customers with information and recommendations, creating a welcoming and professional shopping experience, and promoting and educating audience on its luxury and lifestyle brands including cosmetics, accessories, and home decor items.

Pipton, formerly Blush Haus of Beauté, is a beauty and lifestyle brand created by Elisha Smith in 2006. At Pipton, Elisha carries heritage labels as well as scrappy up-and-comers, along with a range of accessories, art books, gadgets, and quirky knick knacks, travel items, haircare, and cosmetics. Pipton has quickly become a focal point for the beauty obsessed cool that sends fashionistas flocking.

Through a carefully curated interior design at Pipton's physical location in the thriving coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina, Elisha has transformed a typical retail store into a walk-in branded image of a person well versed and traveled. This allows for a creative space where everyone who walks through will find something of interest. Pipton offers a seamless consumer experience between branded apps and the in-store experience, creating a shopping destination with something to offer to everyone.

A Pipton Beauty Advisor / Sales Associate is key to building relationships and providing excellent customer service that keeps customers and guests coming back. The Beauty Advisor / Sales Associate will be responsible for clienteling, accurately recording all sales, assisting with merchandising and stocking responsibilities, pricing, and keeping the store neat, clean, and organized. The Beauty Advisor / Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager, as designated.

• Arrive on time and floor ready
• Maintain a healthy work environment
• Professional phone presence when texting and calling clients
• Provide constructive feedback to the shop management
• Respond well to feedback from management and follows directives
• Able to identify a problem and properly report it
• Understand surrounding community and suggests ideas
• Maintains a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized
• Actively pursues additional product knowledge
• Prioritize workloads to maximize efficiency and minimize impact on customer experience
• Ability to think creatively in business and seek sales opportunities
• Restocking what has been sold
• Assist in tagging new merchandise and existing
• Respond promptly to emails and texts from management
• Ability to effectively communicate with store manager
• Abide by Pipton policies and procedures
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

• Associates Degree or Trade School
• 2+ years of retail experience
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Interest in cosmetics and beauty industry
• Willingness to learn in depth about brands and products
• Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business
• Basic computer skills

• Lift/Carry/Move 40lbs. minimum including fixtures and product
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, to meet the needs of the business.

• Compensation:
  Hourly rate, with the ability to control your pay with commissions
