Team Captain Apparel

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain, Apparel to lead a high-energy sales floor in our retail store. In this role, you'll coach and motivate associates, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure our apparel department looks game-day ready. You'll guide customers on fit, function, and performance gear, maintain visual standards, and support inventory, pricing, and promotions. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate apparel sales associates to achieve daily sales and service goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, product recommendations, and fit guidance.
• Oversee apparel floor merchandising, signage, and brand presentation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock, and support loss prevention efforts.
• Train new associates on service standards, product knowledge, and POS procedures.
• Coordinate daily tasks, zone coverage, and break schedules for the apparel team.
• Support execution of promotions, price changes, and seasonal sets.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling as assigned.
