The Soil Testing Laboratory in the Agronomic Division of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services seeks a Chemistry Technician II to perform high-volume analytical testing of soil samples and contribute to fertility recommendations.
You will operate ICP-OES, UV/Vis spectroscopy, prepare solutions and standards, and maintain records while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring SOP adherence. Working hours are 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
