** A Day in the Life
** As an
** Analyst I or II in our Wilmington, NC lab**, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.
The compensation range for this role is **$22.00 to $27.00**, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

* *** This position will train on 1st shift hours. Once training is complete this position will move to 2nd shift.
*** To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:  
* Analyze environmental samples utilizing LCMSMS and GCMS
* Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenance
* Process data in accordance with SOPs for inclusion in client reports
* Proficient with office software and ability to learn required operational/quantification software
* Aid in development and optimization of analytical methods
* Maintain and update knowledge of relevant instrumentation
* Readily adapt to change in a positive manner and handle other essential tasks as assigned
* Comply with laboratory quality assurance plan and other policies
* Other duties as assigned
** Your Expertise and Skills

* * BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent training)*
* * 2-4 years’ experience in an environmental analytical chemistry;
Instrument software or commercial laboratory experience is an asset
