Security Officer - Foot Patrol

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, residents, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed at a shelter location.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using verbal de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance from management and/or emergency services when appropriate.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.;
Monitor access points and observe cameras and/or alarm systems as assigned, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy issues to the appropriate contacts.;
Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in written reports, and communicate status updates during shift changes to support consistent security-related coverage.
