Security Officer Campus Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as education.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Day Time Sat: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location, assisting with visitor direction, policy awareness, and/or access control procedures as assigned.
• Support campus operations during routine activities and special events by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts, and following post orders and incident response guidelines.

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
