Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM;
Sun 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unusual behavior, security‑related concerns, and/or prohibited items in accordance with post orders.
• Support access control, incident response, and other security‑related duties in a professional manner while following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal procedures.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
