As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with campus procedures and authorized access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
