Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Ohio is a family-owned business located in Columbus, Ohio. We are focused exclusively on dryer vent cleaning, repair, installation, maintenance, service, and safety. As a Dryer Vent Wizard service technician, you are an incredibly valued member of our team responsible for bringing customer’s dryer vent systems up to code, making them safer and more efficient. You will build customer relationships and uphold our standard of outstanding customer service.

The role of a Residential Dryer Vent Technician is to assess our customers' dryer vent systems for inefficiencies, make recommendations to improve upon, and perform the agreed upon work.

Our ideal candidate has an upbeat personality and enjoys interacting with customers, and effectively explaining how we can provide the most efficient dryer vent system. You may have worked in a residential service role before, such as plumbing, crawl space, HVAC, handyman, etc. You are comfortable traveling throughout central Ohio (Columbus and suburbs) area on any given day. Previous supervisors would brag about your work ethic, timeliness and friendly demeanor.

You are comfortable with autonomous work but are a team player.

• Excellent pay - Our technicians make $40,000- $60,000 plus per year working 30- 40 hours per week.

• Weekdays only - We only service customers Monday through Friday. No weekends;

• Great hours - Our technicians start between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, and complete their final job between 2 and 4 PM.

• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
• A friendly demeanor, a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills. The personality of our company is warm and relaxed and we seek individuals that match this energy first and foremost.
• Experience in a relevant trade or customer service role. (e.g. plumbing, crawl space, HVAC, handyman, electrical, pest control etc.)
• Experience and strong comfort level working with hand tools
• Ability to climb and handle ladders up to 30 feet in height
• Ability to work within constricted spaces such as attics, crawlspaces or closets
• Ability to work on rooftops
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Ability to work required business hours
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, management and team members
