Contract Electrician

LS Smith, Inc. is a licensed general contractor and service provider based in Wilmington, NC.

We are seeking an experienced freelance electrician to join our team on a contract basis. Our business experiences fluctuating workloads throughout the year, providing varied earning opportunities. During busy months, our contract electricians earn between $5,000 and $7,000 per month, while in slower months, they typically earn between $1,500 and $3,000 per month.

• We specialize in service and troubleshooting, primarily serving multi-family units.
• Our reputation is built on exceptional customer service, integrity, and professionalism.

• 3-5 years minimum experience as an electrician
• Current workers’ compensation and general liability insurance
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High level of professionalism and integrity

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical systems
• Install wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and fixtures.
• Ensure all work meets required codes and standards.
• Clearly explain electrical issues to clients and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
