Scaffold E&D Carpenter
Job Summary:
The Scaffold E&D Carpenter assists in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials on job sites and prepares material for shipment. They mentor and coach E/D Helpers 1 and 2, aiding in their development under the guidance of the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman.
- Assist in stacking and counting scaffolding materials received on site or shipped from the job site, and prepare the material for shipment.
- Act as a mentor and coach to E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their development, in collaboration with the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman.
- Some trade school experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Scaffold E/D Helper 2 or approved equivalent.
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials.
- Ability to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead Carpenter.
- General knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being used.
- Must have the proper tools.
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors and outdoors as required by the job. SalaryBase Pay Range: $17.75 – $20.10 per hour.
